Together with the Social Business [Treedom](https://www.treedom.net/en/) more than 3,000 trees have been planted, which will store around **1 million kilograms of CO2** by 2029. The tree plantings contribute to **poverty alleviation** and **economic growth** in the region.  Another focus is the fight for **gender equality**. A large proportion of the participants are women who are planting trees for the first time themselves or running the tree nurseries. In workshops and training sessions, they learn the necessary know-how for planting and caring for the trees. ## Check out the exact location of the trees here:
