Fact sheet: Methodically mastering the change process – change management models

Although the different change management models take various approaches and reflect their respective historical background, they set similar requirements and tasks for managers within the scope of a digital change process:

  • Communicating with those affected by the change process is essential.
  • Prior to starting the change process, a clear objective or vision must be formulated and communicated to everyone concerned.
  • Employees affected by the change process should be involved in shaping the transformation as early and as holistically as possible.

  • Preparations must be made in terms of ensuring that both the management level and employees have the motivation, skills and qualifications required for the planned change process.
